How long will it take to get my package?

Please allow up to 3-5 business days for the delivery to be booked. It usually takes 4-10 business days for the parcel to arrive, depending on its destination. In Norway average delivery times are 3-5 business days, in most European countries it is 2-5 business days, while delivery times for the US are on average 10-20 business days.
Do you ship/sell Fine Art prints?

For the time being I do not offer reproductions of my painting, all my work are originals. Although I'm in the process of offering prints as well as homeware products in the near foreseeable future. Check in later or sign up for news.
Can I track my order?
Sure, I will provide you with a tracking number for your order.
Who will pay local import taxes?
Local import taxes and fees for countries outside of Norway are the responsibility of the buyer.
What if the artwork arrives damaged?
In the unlikely event of your artwork arriving damaged, you can either refuse the shipment or you can have the delivery company mark the shipment as ‘received damaged’. Please take photos of the damaged parcel and artwork and send them to ingvillgaarder@gmail.com. I will provide you with the return address where to ship back the damaged artwork.
Can I collect my order at your studio?

Absolutely, especially if your painting is extra large or you have other special requirements. Please contact me at ingvillgaarder@gmail.com
Can the large formats be shipped?
All paintings up to 60x60cm are shipped in a cardboard box unless otherwise stated in gallery or shop. Larger paintings are ‘rolled in a tube’ and If you wish, I can make an exception and ship the artwork ‘ready to hang’. In this case the free shipping does not apply. Such large artworks need to be in packed in wooden crates in order to arrive at their destination safely. The shipping, insurance and crating costs can get high and often it is more cost-effective to get the painting ‘rolled’ and simply have your local framer re-stretch it.
What are your shipping rates?
- I offer FREE worldwide shipping on all my paintings. Artworks are dispatched within 3-5 working days from Norway.
- Artworks up to 60x60 cm will be packaged and shipped in a firm cardboard box.
- Paintings larger than 60x60 cm will be shipped rolled in a tube. Your local framer will need to stretch the canvas onto stretcher bars.

Do you accept returns on your original paintings?
​
I do accept returns on all my original paintings. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return it within 14 days, no questions asked, and you will be fully refunded. You will need to send the painting back to me in the original packaging and cover the cost of return shipping and insurance.
Can I visit your studio?

My studio is not open to the public. However, I can arrange viewings for serious art collectors and journalists upon request. Please contact me at ingvillgaarder@gmail.com if you would like to arrange a visit.
What payment options do you offer?

For the moment I offer secure payment with all major credit cards as well as PayPal. More options may be added later this year.
Where is your studio located?
My studio is approximately 30 minutes by car outside the city of Stavanger in the west of Norway.
Can I custom order fine Art prints?

No, I do not do custom orders for Fine Art prints.
Do you offer framing?
​
All prices exclude frames. For the time being I do not offer framing on originals.
Do you accept commissions?
​
Yes, I do, but please understand that I consider commissions on a case-by-case basis. I don't do reproductions of my works or of other artists’ works, for both practical and moral reasons. If you have any favourites amongst my paintings, you can send me the titles or photos so I will know what kind of composition and colour palette you like. Is there a deposit for commissioned work?

I ask for 30% non refundable deposit before I start to work on the painting.
Can you make a painting with different dimensions from the ones offered in your shop?

Yes, any dimension up to 200 cm (78 inch). If commissioned work needs to be larger than 200 cm (78’’) I can offer a diptych or a triptych. Please feel free to contact me for any questions you might have at ingvillgaarder@gmail.com
