The work is often conceptual exploring ideas regarding female identity, autobiography, fantasy, fairytales etc... It is as a whole situated around the use of manipulating photographic images and the developing and experimentation of building a stage or a scene which is the essence of my work. The female figure is often used as a metaphore and an expression of the self and can also be looked upon as a kind of mirroring and a self portait for the various stages of the everyday life where dreams are under the scrutiny and not always in fact the truth that stares you right in the face... My work is more about the dreams and escape inbetween.
